John “Jack” Schick has been with Karoub Associates from the start in 1969. Jack is one of Lansing’s best-known and most knowledgeable lobbyists. He is also a practicing attorney with a B.A. from Michigan State University and a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School
Scott has been with Karoub Associates since 1986. His tenure and profile with Karoub Associates has earned him recognition as one of Michigan’s top 15 individual lobbyists. Scott holds a B.S. from James Madison College at Michigan State University.
Jim joined Karoub Associates in 1994. He began his political career as a staffer in the Michigan State Senate, progressing to become the Mayor of Lansing. He has a B.S. from Michigan State University.
Shelly joined Karoub Associates in 1997 after serving as the Finance Director for the Michigan Republican State Committee. She has an expertise in fundraising and political campaigns. She has a B.S. from Michigan State University.
Jim joined Karoub Associates in 2000. He began his political career as a staffer to Senator Carl Levin and has had several prominent roles in major state and national campaigns. He has a B.S. from Michigan State University.
Joe joined Karoub Associates in 2001. Prior to that he was a seven-term State Representative and is a current Wayne County Commissioner. He holds a B.A. Degree in Business from Michigan State University and a J.D. from the Detroit College of Law.
Matt joined Karoub Associates in 2011. He most recently served as the Legislative Director for the Senate Majority Leader. He earned his B.A. in finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and his J.D. from Michigan State University of Law.
Matt joined Karoub Associates in 2011. He spent eight years in the Michigan Senate, ending as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Senate Minority Leader. Matt holds a B.A. from Western Michigan University, and is a Fellow of the Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP).
Tabitha joined Karoub Associates in 2003. She has experience in fund development, nonprofits, and local and state governments. She has a B.A. from James Madison College at Michigan State University.
Emily joined Karoub in 2016. She specializes as a public education lobbyist with over a decade of experience in Lansing. Emily currently works with Intermediate School Districts and several public school associations. Emily has B.A. from Michigan State University.
One of the Capitol’s most popular lobbyists, Gregory has been with Karoub Associates since the firm’s founding in 1968. A long-time leader in the Lansing community, he is also a former Executive Assistant with the Michigan Automobile Dealers Association.
Dale joined Karoub Associates in 2002. He has an extensive background in local government, previously serving on city councils, commissions, administrative capacities and legal counsel. His holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan, a J.D. from Wayne State University, and the FBI National Academy.
George brings 29 years of experience in government affairs and law. Mr. Carr has held various positions on numerous board, commissions and associations. He holds a B.A. from Albion College and J.D. from Cooley Law School.
Murray joined Karoub Associates in 1997 as the former Deputy Commissioner of the Michigan Financial Institutions Bureau. He has an extensive background in legislative and regulatory matters dealing with financial institutions. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Michigan State University.
Don joined Karoub Associates in 2014, bringing with him four decades of education experience. He specialized in the interests of Education Service Agencies and Small and Rural Schools. He holds degrees from Grand Valley State University and Western Michigan University.
Jackie is responsible for office and events management at Karoub Associates, including special event coordination for the Governors Room, Karoub’s premiere legislative fundraising and reception facility next door to the State Capitol.
Amy joined Karoub Associates in 1997 and is responsible for accounting, campaign finance reporting and office management.
A former AT&T Law and Government Affairs Senior Analyst, Denise has an extensive background in regulatory matters with respect to technology and communications. She is responsible for research, legislative tracking and client communications.
